Nice looking machine.

 

It wouldn't take too much imagination to see that as an actual tractor, move a few components back to the normal locations and some bigger wheels :-)

 

Prices here are going crazy at the moment - found this on ebay and nearly choked on my cup of tea!

  That’s a very cool looking unit! Never seen one before…or even knew they existed.

Got that right! The manual says it originally came with an 8 HP Briggs - AND available sulky !!

@Maxwell-8  never seen one of those . have used the GRAVLEY  SIMILAR TYPE , with the sulky . that really makes that unit ,  the novelty of walking behind that  , goes away  pretty fast ,  sulky just makes  it what it should be , pete

Not hard to see how this got engined. WH in the U.S. had a front-mount chassis to hold a deck and the rear portion is pretty close to the RER model "lawn skiff".
