TC10284 110 #1 Posted May 3, 2022 41-20OE03 - 1992 520-H. The PTO safety switch has been wired together to bypass it. I'm considering repairing it if it's not much trouble. Although also open to leaving it as-is, because I know not to leave my PTO lever engaged when starting... Anyway: See if this list looks correct: 2x of https://www.partstree.com/parts/toro-111332/ 2x of https://www.partstree.com/parts/toro-111498/ But for the connector (https://www.partstree.com/parts/toro-111498/), where are the actual terminals that go on the wires? Handy Don 10,656 #2 Posted May 3, 2022 These are the style, size, and function of the ones for my similar vintage 518. This is not a difficult repair once you have access. Personally, my memory has not gotten sharper as I age and I suspect yours won't either. And I am easily distracted by grandchildren, stray thoughts about projects in progress, and shiny objects. All my safety switches work, even the blade clutch on my push mower. More than once I've turned the key to start a machine, gotten no response, and then remembered to correct the situation that caused the safety interlock. 1

Do you know if the terminals come with the connector body? If not, do you know which terminals fit in that connector block? gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,513 #4 Posted May 3, 2022 Are they not Packard 56 terminals?

I am referring to: https://www.partstree.com/parts/toro-111498/ From the description, it appears to be the body only and does not include the contacts that slide into it. I've only replaced switches and not the connector so I've got no information on them. A search got me these: https://www.jst.com/products/appliance-connectors/microswitch-connector/ https://www.ibselectronics.com/ibsstore/3v-187-jst-housing-microswitch-connector-3-position.html? The second one specifies that the contacts are not included.
Handy Don 10,656 #6 Posted May 3, 2022 Thanks @gwest_ca, I believe you are correct. I recommend a dedicated crimping tool for attaching the terminals. I (stupidly) resisted for years ($20? I'll use pliers) until trying one and became an instant convert.
