About once every other month i put the word out that I was going to do a Sears Run Friday after work to exchange damaged Craftsman tools. I would collect any and all the cracked or damaged sockets and wrenches, and broken hand tools. Then I would see the 3 guys in the electrical department. They would produce a collection of burnt, semi-melted used-to-be screwdrivers. The store manager never denied a return, he said he had seen a lot worse ... Bill That was about the time they started their downhill slide, both financially and quality.
