953 nut 59,729 #2 Posted March 27, 2022 The brochure didn't show any models with hubcaps.
oliver2-44 10,678 #3 Posted March 27, 2022 (edited) @chev0545 Do you have a blackhood C161 or the long narrow hood model? Early 79 was the long narrow hood, later was the blackhood. Edited March 27, 2022 by oliver2-44

I’ll try to see if it shows any hubcap options.

Believe it was the 1978 and 1979 "Twin" cylinder models using B&S engines that got the black hoods and were they not made of fiberglass?
D_Mac 9,301 #7 Posted March 27, 2022 I do not know if these are original hubcaps for the year but I put these on my C-161

I looked at one just as you mentioned, with the Twin B&S and all fiberglass, not sure of the year. The kid that was selling it didn't know much about it, it was his late father's. It was buried in a bunch of mostly junk. He was supposed to call me when he got it out, that was six months ago.

I would think the ones D-MAC shows above would be correct for that time period, though.

The twin cylinders did have the fiberglass hood to provide the clearance necessary.
