Needle bearing replacement

Recommended Posts

Sam McCall

Got a c-141 me and my buddies are restoring, I’m rebuilding the transmission and getting ready to put new axle and break seals on. Pulled old axle seals off and the one Torrington bearing is missing a needle and the case is broke, I checked the manual and they are discontinued and I can’t find a part number that works. Does anyone have a part number that will fit? Much appreciated!

The 1 1/8" needle bearing is Wheel Horse 1526, cross over to Torrington or KOYO B-1816.  You can get those from any auto parts store, Motion Industries, or Lowell at Wheel Horse parts&more...one of our vendors.

Where are my manors???   Welcome to Red Square Sam.  Ask any questions you want and enjoy the site.  :occasion-xmas:

Our resident tranny expert seems to have you covered.

If you need to cross reference any other bearings or seals, here's a link with some excellent cross reference sheets.
