RITEK 25 #1 Posted February 18, 2022 Ok it runs but... I have to have a jumper wire from the battery to the coil. I've read a lot of things online but still don't understand what I have to do. Can someone give me a run down on how I can get this to have spark like it used to.
lynnmor 7,719 #2 Posted February 18, 2022 Seat switch, PTO switch, ignition switch, relay, fuses and connections. Download the Demystification Guide available on this forum. Also download the owners manual with a wiring diagram. Just check with a voltmeter till you find where the voltage is lost.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,393 #3 Posted February 18, 2022 Download this file. There is a diagram there for the ignition only.
peter lena 9,190 #4 Posted February 20, 2022 @RITEK agree with @lynnmor on the connection issue , those multiple point pin connectors are noted for stress cracking , look for powdery surface covering on a fault spot , have any small alligator clip test wires ? let you jump over the problem . chances are this is not a spot fix . if you get it going , take advantage and go over everything for a look see . tightly bent wiring and corrosion , is probably also there , pete
