peter lena 9,140 #1 Posted February 7, 2022 have a metal waste junk yard in your area ? they probably have a section for used piping , and related flanges, look for BLANK FLANGES , that's the typical end stop to a pipe flow . come in many sizes , you will have to drill a couple of holes for a fit to threaded rod , very heavy , worth a look , pete 2

peter lena 9,140 #3 Posted February 7, 2022 @Maxwell-8 typically in my area , the blank flanges are very large , man hole size , they never know when or what's coming in , but its not to far from my area , so I regularly swing by , and do a walk around . they sell everything by the lb. weight. they also have a very large , brake rotor section . great size , but , too light . keep snoopin around , pete
roadapples 6,983 #4 Posted February 7, 2022 Can't buy anything at the junk yards around here. They say because of liability...
peter lena 9,140 #5 Posted February 7, 2022 @roadapples did not even think about that , but who knows , the way things are going , all it would take is a problem in the selling cycle , isn't life grand ? pete

Yes an no, alot places use that a polite way to say no thanks to keep people from showing up to pick through the stuff. It keeps the guy away who will spend 8hours taking stuff apart loading up is trunk with with stuff he will never use anyway.
