   ,do you plow snow ?  have you lubricated your plow steering quadrant ? and related lever linkage ? or is your stuff proudly covered in rust / scale , and difficult to use ? just did quick check , unplugged my battery tender , heat lamp , instant start , plow blade sprayed down with  teflon super lube , or snow chute spray , for quick easy non stick plowing , the plow quadrant , swivels with out effort , the squeeze handle lever , is smooth and easy to use. both my plow tractors have the same lubrication set  up , just a  good opportunity BEFORE IT SNOWS  TO MAKE YOUR PLOW EASY TO USE , very sorry for suggesting this , just a good time to get the rust out of the way of movement , keep it slick , pete

@peter lena - this is a little off subject, but your mention of the plow quadrant, reminded me about the steering fan gear.  What are you using on your fan gears and steering shaft pinion?  Since they are exposed,  I hestate to use something like chassis grease, as it would tend to collect dust and grime and turn into lapping compound.

@8ntruck  walmart has this in stock,https://www.walmart.com/ip/Lucas-Oil-Xtra-Heavy-Duty-Grease-Green-14-5-oz/36052505 , made for brutal mechanical use , since going over to this , wear / function is much better , no more failed / whining bearings , polyurea ( recovering ) rated. that quadrant is regularly neglected , and side , slide pin , is usually a rusted mess. regularly go over the function of everything , my plows , and all related linkage , are lubed up an verified for easy / smooth function.  also my dozer blades are super lube teflon sprayed down , for slick plowing. not off the subject , this is what you want , have a good plow day , pete
