Nice foot warmer!
Plenty of snow down here in Kalamazoo.  How much did you get?

Something about that pipe, just turned this view into a Rat Fink look.

yessir!

about 10-14” I’d say.  I plowed a couple places twice today and I’ll run a cleanup route tomorrow!

It might look better I agree, but function and safety might actually be a concern with this build…

Yeah, Kevin is one guy who knows what he is doing... :handgestures-thumbsup:

What is the normal gearing and speed of a 953 and how is the geared now?  It might not be that fast unless you geared it up a lot with the engine pulley, but with all that HP might be real easy to get the front up starting off.

With out the spring loaded driven pulley It's only going to do what the belt will let it.

Or go smaller on the transmission and add a flat idler pulley... :handgestures-thumbupright:

On the other hand... with 8,000 RPM... you may not want it to be any faster... :eusa-think:

I went down to a 2.5 inch transmission pulley, and added a flat idler... with 7,650 rpm... a touch below 30 mph was my top speed. B)

Only about 10 mph max with stock transmission pulley... :laughing-rollingred:

I’d have to check, but my guess is still in the 6-8 mph range in third gear Lee.  Now, it’s got a 5” or so pulley on the rear.  I think at w.o.t. it might be a 1:1 drive but over twice the stock rpms.  Given the tire size, it might go 20 or more?  But on rough terrain, that’ll be plenty to start!  I want to prove my concept, then make it smoother, faster, etc.

Kevin, I know it's extra cash but wouldn't it be easier to put 2 separate pod air filters on those carbs?  Would buy you a lot of space.:twocents-twocents:

I’m gonna have to start a go fund me… I spent $12.18 on this project and two new filters will be here Saturday!  Funny, 12.18 is my wife’s birthday.  It was meant to be.

Oil tank is mounted.  Should be plenty of room for the air filters.  Looks like I need a cap from this parts sled’s parts sled!
