Tell them about drilling thru the mushroom gear for the wiring Dan. The holes in the pail shade were all drilled by hand & note the ag treads. The finial was made by @Wheel Horse 3D Is this thing cool or what!!!! Rated right up there with Kohler shroud clocks! Pics do not do the thing justice! Thanks Dan! If any one wishes to drill the 10mm x 8" long hole through a mushroom gear like I did to make the lamp, here is my advice. Chuck the gear up in a lathe, chuck a 10mm carbide bit in the tail section and pack a lunch. Cause your going to be there a while. AMC RULES 36,945 #15 Posted December 24, 2021 @Jeff-C175 Being this is a '53 model Walk-Away, you'll see all the elements of the later RJ-35 hub here only instead of the gear and pawl drive setup riding inside those hubs, this gear and pawl set rides on the outside of the axle, on the inside of the rim.
