I was thinking the same thing---also I see on his trip that he ran his truck to empty---You know these trucks take gas to get down the road-----I also liked the jet plane over the Bald Eagle.  Just saying

That was my trip.  We were 290 miles or so into a 1300 mile round trip and my fuel gauge went from 3/4 tank to empty in about a mile.  With a 29 gallon transfer tank, it was only a tiny bit nerve wracking!

It has been known to be hard on the fuel pump if run lower than 1/4 tank---Just Saying.

just the gauge went.  My Duramax has no in tank pump, just an injection pump from factory and an aftermarket lift pump.

Ok i got it now ---I was thinking as you know that it had a in tank pump--Dang I thought that they all had in tanks now:USA:.
