In MI right now, so long as you can show that you have an appt scheduled, and proper other paperwork, you can drive without a tag. They are everywhere! All the old stepsides that I am aware of 4x6 on the shortbeds, so it should. 4x8 on the longbeds, but I think they did make some longer ones. I THINK that they started making them that size because a 4x8 would hold a half a cord of wood. I could be wrong though, and my wife would confirm that!!
