ri702bill 9,406 #7 Posted November 10, 2021 (edited) Nice looking ride. Early stepside short bed half tons never go out of style. Tastefully done with that "murdered" look in satin black. Back in the 70's there were many 55 to 57 Chevy sedans and hardtops in my area - most done in flat black. One advantage was if you scratched a fender, just grab another rattle can, some tape and yesterdays newspaper and reshoot that panel! Cool to look at, fun to drive and I don’t have to worry about it constantly. Heck I’d even do dump runs with it! I think you nailed you appraisal of it!

Looks good from 10 feet at 10 mph but I wouldn't hesitate a heartbeat to put it down a back country road with branches running along the sides.

RandyLittrell 3,903 #22 Posted November 10, 2021 (edited) Love the new ride!! I learned to drive a 66 when I was too small to reach the pedals. Dad would put her down in granny low and I just turned the key to start and stop. I had a 65 when I got married and finding a nice one is on my bucket list as well!! They are so understaffed. As aggravating as it was I felt worse for the lady’s there. They can’t hire anyone, apparently no one wants a job. Brandon bucks are easier….
