OK, This kinda rough RJ-58 is SLOWLY going back together, and I THOUGHT I would share.........Thats some nice patina right there     LOL  ,   The K-90 is off an old Bolens, but......Looks about right...carb is off something that was yellow (maybe Cub Cadet ????)

@engineguy63  want to save that patina ?  aerosol  wd 40 or marvel mystery oil on a clean cloth rub down till dry , how tough was that ?   anything i pick up , that is usually starved with neglect , gets a spray down , amazing how it almost turns into a wax job result with water beading all over it . oil will stop the rust and retain what you have . pete

So... do you do a clear coat over that... or just keep some type of oil on it?

Not going to coat it over, just leave it how it is. Ill keep it dry so should not rust anymore....its pretty solid. The wheels were painted with badly pealing painr so there cleaned up and painted flat black ( kind of a hot rod look)     LOL

I think you have one of the neatest Horses I have seen here. 

 

Why exactly is it green? I thought all Wheel Horses were red... 'cept for restomods...

I have NO idea why it was painted GREEN, Previous owner did not like RED I guess !
