Big block shallow oil pan

Does anyone have pictures of the shallow oil pan for the big block motors I’m looking for one to buy any help would be greatly appreciated

Well I’m wanting to put a big block in a 856 without having to raise the hood and dash tower if I can find the shallow pan like used on the 1045 I think it would work out good

You will also need a different rod or carefully modify the oil dipper on the existing one.

Do you have a model and spec # on this motor?

 

Note the different lengths of the oil dipper.

And no, you cannot simply replace the rod cap. :no:

Does it have the "ears" on it like a big base engine? If so, you have to modify the block on some of them, some you can just cut the ears off. The term "big block" is a bit deceiving sometimes.
