Pullstart 64,649 #2 Posted September 27, 2021 The light gets covered when the door opens? My girls opened an overhead fast enough today, it knocked an LED panel off the chains and it hung half way by the power cord. Is that cabinet plumb with the world?

I'm a picture straightener so it keeps me up at night, but I bought the two car garage on a double lot for 10 grand! I needed to a place to go with my stuff after Mom decided to move to town after Dad passed, most empty lots near my house were 20 grand, so this was a steal. When I first put up that grey shelf I had to try 2 different levels to figure it out!! Best 10 grand I have ever spent though! I just hung that wooden cabinet today and had to take a pic and share. Yep. Me too. Randy don't worry about the inappropriate level in there. Just mount a whole bunch of cabinets on the wall with every single one of them tilted a slight different direction. Problem solved. 1 2

JoeM 7,942 #15 Posted September 27, 2021 Sometimes you have to put stuff up crooked to maker her look straight! Or you can dim the lights, I look better in the dark! Or you can just look down when you walk over there! Or put up one of those pin up calendars to draw your attention! Anybody else?

Or you can just look down when you walk over there! All good suggestions. One that I've seen adopted is to blur or camouflage straight edges by having tools, hoses, pulley belts, tools and other stuff all over the place--but I suspect that'd also give you ulcers! 2

I live in a 100 year old house which is old for around here, but you have me beat by a mile!!! Nothing is perfect in my house either, and I have been there 27 years and now. Starting to get some projects done I thought about when we moved in!! Randy
