It runs one one cylinder at present. Im not sure if the year has granny accidentally threw out the manuals to garden tractor. It a Sears SS/16

I rebuilt one of those BF engines on my Dads Sears tractor years ago.

Contact onanparts.com for availability of parts, I think he no longer puts complete rebuild kits together.  You usually don't need everything.

I haven’t had chance to really dig into yet I picked it up from my uncle yesterday afternoon. I plan on getting more in depth this weekend. I have some of the garden attachments and looking forward to this project. Keep you posted

Hi and welcome to Red Square! Your Onan was shipped to Roper/Sears in May 1974. Start with a compression check and go from there.

Service manual:

Onan Production Order.

Well I talked to my uncle again he told me it ran on one cylinder I haven’t been able to get it to fire due to fuel system is clogged. He then gave me all details he hasn’t cranked it in several years. So I have to flush the entire fuel system from tank to carb and hope jets etc in good condition and thanks to onanparts.com i have a manual with parts information. I’m very excited I’ll post more later

Be very cautious with the carburetor, maybe you can reuse the old parts, they can be expensive to replace.
