Well done!

 

My first "tractor" as an adult was a Murray that had an 11 HP Briggs I/C. Great little engine. 

 

I believe you'll find that MW to be quite capable if used within the limitations of the light duty transaxle. 

 

Let him get used to being in control of the machine then throw some weight on it in the right places and it'll tow quite a lot more than you realize.

He really would.  We did replace the lights and they do work.  Didn't think thoug to do multi-color...we'll add to the list for future upgrades

You could maybe do a "Knight Rider" thing... but I doubt the young feller has a clue about that old show!

 

time for non-sequitur:

 

One of my friends nieces once asked him:

"You mean Paul McCartney was in a band before Wings?"

 

And one of my nephews when he was about 12 y.o. asked me; "How'd y'all get girls back in your day Uncle Jeff?"

I told him that we used to knock 'em on the head with our clubs and drag them back to the cave.

His Mama wasn't pleased...
