How do you replace and rotate headlights on a black hood?

Mine are just held on by clips.

1982 C105.

May want to redo and reinforce your ground to the frame, as the Black Hoods have a floppy hood that makes for less than ideal ground…

Looks like the 80 and 81 tractors have bolts in retainers, 82 on used the push in clips like Jim's picture..

Hmmm...  The headlights on my '81 C-105 look exactly like the ones in Jim's photo, with the clips.

I got that info from the IPLs on partstree,  don't consider it carved in stone...  I should have put a disclaimer.

The one in my pic is an '80, I prefer that style since the light can't rotate.

May be just Wheel Horse Inc. using up spare parts from previous years like they did on everything else? :confusion-confused:

1980 B-Series and C-Series used the 4 part number 108054 plates.

1981 C-Series used the 4 part number 108054 plates.

1981 B-Series used the 8 part number 108911 spring clips.

1982-1984 C-Series used the 8 part number 108911 spring clips.

108054 plates were replaced by 108911 spring clips for service parts replacement and still available July 7, 2021

My c175 is an 80 or 81 and this is what my mounts look like. As a keen observer can see, I am in need of replacement lights. Is there a modern equivalent to the 4411 in LED format that actually shines a spotlight beam?
