Ah.....make that Horse earn its keep.Cut down 2 dead elms behing my shop last  week. One about 60 feet tall. One about 40.Both about 16 inch diameter at the base.Been dead for years and I was afraid they would fall on my shop. Those trees would have stood probably the rest of my life. The wood was solid as a rock.Too much work for this old man.Even when using my John Deere 490D excavator.

Between cheap Chinese trees and NJ elm disease, there won't be any good hardwoods left ;-). Elm made for plenty of warm days and nights by the wood stove in the old NJ days.

There will be lots of cutting up and hauling away work for the 310-8

My 310-8 is still one of my favorites. It's dependable, and tough as nails.

Always nice that see them do what they were meant to!

It is good to have these tractors to do a good day's work. Nice trailer also.
