fuel pump problem

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I have a 1969 raider with a Tecumseh HH 100. It has a mechanical fuel pump. Does anyone know if this type pump can still be bought or if there is a rebuilding kit for it ? If not is there an alternative solution?

Not sure on your pump question, but I have been using a marine style primer bulb on my two :wh: with great success… starts are a breeze…

I recently replaced the mechanical pump on my Kohler K341 with an electric pump. I should have done it long ago

What ePump did you use? I've seen a few mentioned on the forum, but no consensus as to the one to buy.

It was a Facet that I bought from NAPA. $80.00 bucks! Im sure that you can do better on line. It came with a filter which made it pretty long, But it works great. I guess you can leave the old pump in place to cover the hole in the block but I fab'd a gasket and plate.

Do you have a spec # and pic of this fuel pump?

I believe mine has a higher pressure output than the one shown by tuul crib. I'll have to check to see which one mine is but I think its a 0 - 10 PSI. I did read that 10 PSI is the Max joy want

@ the tuul crib , got the exact model under a different name on the net , mounted up front near the original set up , super quiet with no issues at all , might do this to my other 2 horses, pete
