Kohler M12 - Ignition Coil Standoff Broken Off

Recommended Posts

TC10284

I picked up another 312-8 today for $40. Mostly great condition tractor. Came with new battery and 42" deck (needs major patching at height adjustment lever).

The main issue is that the previous owner I think, tried to put on a new ignition coil and did not properly adjust it. Ended up breaking one of the ignition coil standoffs off.
Is there a way this can be fixed? I do NOT have the original standoff. I am trying to find out if he happens to have it. I am assuming not.

Your best bet is to find another backing plate.

Thanks!

Do you know if those are fairly available or any part numbers?

Looks like a 12HP Magnum backing plate #47 146 11-S Not available new might try A-Z or one of the parts vendors, classified section, or evil bay.

Looks like M16 is the same plate
