How to frustrate a scammer

Recommended Posts

bc.gold

Received an email from a friend asking me a favor, Russ is the CEO of a large company and he probably has more credit cards and resources availble to him than I have to fill the request and the language used in the message didn't fit his personality.

When I called him on the phone he told me someone had hacked his email account and had sent money requests to all those on his contact list.

To play a joke on the hacker i sent an e-transfer via interact for a $1000.00, they'll need the secret answer to the question in order to process the funds. I'll leave the carrot dangle.

For the next 30 days the bank will send the recipient weekly reminders, this will drive them crazy
