What model Horse?

Can anyone tell me what model the Wheel Horse on the left is by this pic? 502? 701? Check out the hood/dash extension. I know the Clinton engine is not original to the tractor. It would have had a Kohler or maybe a Tecumseh, right?  I'd like to buy and restore it whatever it is, but I'd like to know which it is. Where will the serial/model # tag be? This is the only pic I have. Thanks.

The one on the right could very well be a 701. It's got the double pulley on the engine. There's no second pulley on the generator.

One on left would need the solid hood for a 701. One on the right had the wrong front axle for a 701

The one on the right has a 61/62 style front axle but has the adjustable stop for the lift lever 63 or newer :scratchead: . 62-64 slotted hood and looks like it has a battery tray so either 552 or 702 best guess . The serial #’s are under the dash on the shifter label. The one on the right has a 63/64 front axle and the61-63 steering wheel . So must likely a 753 .

After six decades of shade-tree mechanics working on them it is hard to say what changes have been made. I think you need both of them.

So is it possible/likely that the hood & grille from the one one the left will fit the one on the right?

That looks like a GT14 behind those front 2, and another set of wheels to the right.  Seems like you better pay that place a visit.  The right GT14 sure could be a Bucket List tractor.

It should and like others hav said I’d try to get both. Lots of parts interchange between the two and your going to need some.
