Depending on year some 310-8 came with 5" rims   some had 7".  With 7" 23x8.5 or 9.5 will work.   Putting them on the 5' will look really bulgy.

look at this thread for pics on how to measure your rims

I measured my rims on my 314-8 and I believe they are 7" rims.

Thank you guys for all of your help!

Couple more questions......If I can find some rims with tires on them what is the lug nut spacing I need? Are there any brand tractors that will work for sure like Simplicity?

I know the 23 X 10.5 -12 will work on the 520HC but are there any issues for a 518H? Do the 10.5 use the same 7" rim?

Pretty sure most 5 lug tractors all have the same lug pattern, 5x4.5. The offset is the difference, WH uses a high offset, others are close to neutral. I think the 520 and 1848 are the only ones to use the 5 lug pattern, correct offset and 8.5" wide which is what you want for a true 10.5 wide tire. Most tire manufacturers don't make a true 10.5 tire. But Deestone along with other brands make a narrow 10.5 that would fit on a 7" rim. I have Firestone 23* and they don't even measure 10.5, the sidewall is straight up n down, no bulge, on a 8.5" rim.

23x8.5-12 ags on standard 310-8 wheels will look like this. Mine are white, but you can see the fitment:

When you are referring to a high offset are you referring to that 3" measurement on the above picture from Wednesday 9:02 am?

The tires with rims that I am looking at the guy said they definitely fit Simplicity tractors. They are Kenda 23 X 10.5 -12 (4 ply) with 5 lugs with a 4.5" lug pattern/31/8" center hole.

They look to be offset but I don't know how much.

Do you think they will work?

They have less offset than WH does, so might be able to push the hub out some. I have a set of 8.5" wheels off a Cub, they fit, but if don't push the hub out they will rub on the tank brackets. I had them on a 518 or 520, don't remember, but same tractor anyways.

Don't move the hub out, the woodruff is designed to have the set screw in the center. Moving the hub in or out will cock the key allowing the hub to move that way. The axle and the hub should be flush.
