WHX?? 50,863 #27 Posted October 4, 2023 (edited) I feel for ya Bob. The RE-67 I got from Madge I had running like a Swiss watch. Favorite go to yard worker. Took it to exhibit at it's first show and wouldn't start. No spark or so it seems. Who the hell ever said to put the points under the flywheel anyway? Pushed it in a corner for ... ready for this? A 701 project! Sadly the 701 project is giving me end of project fits too but oh well such is the life of a restorer. Like you hope to get it back in the shop for winter fun. What's worse is Dino brings me a RR-65. I passed in on to @Achto Herd tell he's got more time on his hands and a better wrench to boot!. Moparfanforever 874 #28 Posted October 4, 2023 I got this from my dad years ago, have never used it. I know nothing about Tecumseh engines and do not care to know about them.

Guessing it boils down to is parts a plenty and reasonable for our beloved Ks. Not like parts and such aren't around for other motors just much more leg work to find them. Luckily for today's internet manuals and specs can be had.
