my 520-h.

today my wh 520-h would drive up the drive way like 20 ft and just shut off and not start it will idle but when i drive it for a bit it shuts off maybe spark plug coil or starter solenoid or ignition switch.

Could also be your gas cap vent.

Bad fuel pump or the screen in the tank outlet is clogged.  Just a guess, give additional performance history and maybe we can narrow it down.

i switched the pump yesterday and the tank outlet might be clogged. the tractor has great performance history and it will only get 1 spark every half a minute and that is what leads me to think why the spark plug coil or the stator.

The cap should have a vent.of some sort.

I had a similar issue with my 520, mine turned out to be a corroded fuse block. The fuse for the ignition would loose contact momentarily. Diagnosed this when I noticed some of the gauges cutting out at the same time I lost spark.

i will run it tomorrow and see if it has the gauge problem

ya it was that but i want to put a bunch of other parts on to so now is a good time
