How do you fasten ONLY the front portion of the hood?

EB.  Do you have room to use two pieces of threaded rod straight through the hood?  Use a nut under the frame, above the bottom of the hood, under the top of the hood, then on top, then cut the rod off.

I could even decorate the top of that a little bit with an upside down rubber cup or something.

or leave the studs long and put TWO hood ornaments on? Get you some dualing horses jousting forward... or swiveling like weathervanes to show you what’s up and downhill.  Or make ‘em bobble heads looking up hill.  Man, I’m on a roll!  Time to stop before someone gets hurt!
