Starter bushings wear oval because of the side load. This increases the friction and drag greatly so the starter slows down.

This Canadian Stens dealer has a kit that includes the bushings but the part number is different and not recognized at the Stens site.

So out of curiosity this kit appears to be for a kt style starter? Or at least that’s how it is pictured? I have a k341 that that starter gave out in and am in need of a full rebuild kit for it brushes and bushings. Anybody know of a kit other than the $12 one from eBay?? Pic is the data tag off engine.
