Gregor 4,847 #1 Posted March 28, 2021 Were we speaking of Lawn Boys? I dunno, but we are now. I have apparently misplaced some gaskets for my spare snowblower engine. These gaskets are in/on the muffler, and are made of a paper like material, and folded to conform to the muffler. They are key # 67, 69, and 43 in the pic. They would be simple to makeif I knew what kind of material can withstand the high temps of a muffler. Any ideas? Thanks Greg
lynnmor 7,822 #2 Posted March 28, 2021 Google asbestos gasket material, you should be able to find non-asbestos material now that the original is hard to find.
Gregor 4,847 #3 Posted March 29, 2021 I did see manifold gasket material on line. I'm just not sure if it can be bent to 90 degrees, without snapping, or cracking.

You might try soaking it in hot water prior to bending. There is all kinds of material, all you can do is experiment.
