I have them and use them, plus I have eyeglasses. I had it happen once years ago. Didnt like it. This was an unplanned last cut that went totally wrong. Wrong place wrong time.

I need info on the clutch/brake pedal return spring. Size and fastening location would be great. I'm gearing up for a 3 day weekend ahead. I hope to get alot done.

Always working with as much on hand as possible i had to make a shaft adapter for the pulley. The engine I chose had a stepped shaft.

The belt is on. I hope it correct. Also working on a parking brake. I think I'm making headway.

The belt looks great!  Is it fabric/Kevlar coated?  The parking brakes looks functional, but the spring doesn’t seem “right” for some reason.  Maybe it’s needed because of the excess weight of the rod on top?

The spring it set to auto engage the parking brake. I can clutch  before it auto sets. After looking at it I probably should have it auto release instead. Maybe that's why the spring looks wrong?

There should be a tension spring on it somewhere. The only thing holding it tight is the brake spring at the moment

there should be a spring from the rib on the top of the left axle housing to the brake/clutch rod.  That’ll give you belt tension.

If someone was going to reline a brake band what's the best way to do it.? I've seen where people have used everthing from actual woven brake material to leather. Mcmaster offers a molded liner and woven. Has anyone had any experience with the molded? I have also seen where people have used all differant types of adhesives. Anything from Gorilla Glue to Liquid nails. I would like to hear some input. Good and bad.

I don't know anything about the lining material, but I have never had good luck with Gorilla Glue. It may be good for porous material, if you have a few months to let it set up, but it's never worked good for me. Others may have had better luck with it.

I bought a roll of brake lining material from McMaster-Carr. 

 

I attach it width clear silicone and about 8 or 10 zip ties. Several applications including the Cinnamon Horse C160 which gets worked pretty good. 

No issues. 

 

Highly recommend going that route. 

 

Gimme a width and length. I'll see what the stuff I have here is for size.

I had Trina hold the lining in place and ziptied her hand to it.
