Poor Hiram. He is almost done, but busy season came to soon. Next rain day I hope to get a bunch done. Meanwhile I did find him a friend today though.

Yes it is. I thought about keeping these ones, but I think I will just keep the hood for a "later on" project.

With a little added "Mike-fab" below that I could see it turning into something very interesting.

Oh it's just aching to be repurposed. I'm gonna have to ponder it for a bit.

I'm thinking something that articulates. Maybe twin transmission? 4x2 or 4x4 not sure yet. Or maybe long and low? Three 5hp briggs inline coupled to a 1950ish Ford 4 speed coupled to an 80's Honda 4 wheeler shaft drive rear? CRAP!!!    I gotta walk away.

Or 3 Briggs sideways coupled by chain.

Either way that sounds purrttyy entertaining.

Center spacer welded in and welds almost ground down.

Drilled out the old stud holes just to clean them for welding.

The little pieces in the bottom pic are cut 1/8" thinner then the wheel thickness. They will be centered in each of the old stud holes and rosette welded in place.

Time for the stud holes.

Transfer punches are the "cats meow" when it comes to something like this. Guaranteed to be in the center. They are worth their weight in gold.

I like to mark 1 hole, drill it, then bolt the pieces together so nothing drifts around while marking the other holes.

I have a small set for matching dowel holes in wood projects. Not needed real often, but boy are they handy.

'course if I ever get really into joining boards, I'd get a biscuit cutter.....

The wheel is finished for the most part. Time to fine tune it and clean it up.

I am curious to see what does wheel would do on a hydro.

Does rims would be good for a picture on wide Wednesday

I had some 33x15.50x15s on a 252H once. Worked good. Made it a bit faster though.

I'm putting my hubs on this morning. Things are all cleaned up but they are going on kinda snug. Should I go over things again with sandpaper or tap on with a lead mallet?

Sandpaper.

They should slide on fairly easy.

I've kinda been on a low keyed search for a set of Gravely wheel weights/dual adapters for the front wheels. I recieved a message last night. A guy says he has a pair with 2 extra wheels just 5 miles from home. It would be nice to have some extra weight up front.

I snagged this pic from Google.

Check where the primer is rubbed off and a round file or even a rotary carbide cutter if needed.  Or a sandpaper roll, drill or by hand if a light touch is needed.

I dont know if I'm the only one, but have you ever been told something wont work? Then you tried doing it anyways just to see first hand? Ya so I tried it anyways. A bit of time and money spent to learn a lesson. I'm not sure what the lesson is yet because I havent put it to use. The outcome will be known by mid- week.

Let's see your view from your workplace "window". I know some are driving truck,or tractor, work in shops/offices or outdoors. What is it that surrounds you during your work day?

I've had some stuff laying around for a while now. I've had some ideas kicking around my head for a while as well.
Well they met each other a few days ago.
This is going to be a camp buggy of sorts.
Like any of my other builds I would appreciate any input anyone want to donate.

The base is an 1982-88 Yamaha G1 golf cart.

I've wanted to do this type of project for a while now. So here we go. The name was given by @wallfish. It will be called "The Yeti".  It will be painted and badged in a military theme. The front axle is in progress now.
