gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,393 #4 Posted February 24, 2021 The Wheel Horse lubrication charts show 2-1/2 quarts for 1985 and 1986 310-8. I expected to see more for 1986 because of the low oil warning system but just the bigger single cylinder engines 312, 414 and 416 got the extra 1/2 quart. 314 did not get it. 1987 310-8 first year for M10 uses 2-1/2 quarts.
