In striping the lawn, have you considered modifying the rear of the mower to add a roller like the Simplicity of old?

RAPOSO,  use this grease on your pto needle bearing , as well as your mower deck bearings , https://www.walmart.com/ip/Lucas-Oil-10005-Red-N-Tacky-Grease-14-oz/36052506?athcpid=36052506&athpgid=athenaItemPage&athcgid=null&athznid=PWVUB&athieid=v0&athstid=CS020&athguid=70997aaa-007-177d448a08f779&athancid=null&athena=true  with a hi temp drop point  540+ , the grease will stay with your bearings , instead of failing . have this in all my deck drive areas , made a point of getting this fresh hi temp grease in those bearings , no noise , and no failures . just my own experience, pete

Well she’s a runner! Need to get a longer throttle cable and hook that up and fine tune the carb but she’s moving under her own power now!

Got the hitch installed and got an older patina’d mule drive mounted up front until I get a newer one I have rebuilt.

I love the look of those tires on that machine.  Any plans for a stack brace?  Bill

Got the bags mounted! Now I just need the damn mower blades to arrive so I can get the mower deck underneath her and get it all finished up!

Pulled the bags off to tow the aerator around today, ran it for 45 mins and she did great. I did notice the exhaust seems to be a bit hot, what would cause that? Too lean?

They still have rollers on them.  My dad bought a new Simplicity Broadmoor in 2015 that has full width rollers on the 48" deck.  It cuts nice and lays down some nice striping in the grass, but I don't think it is as good as the Wheel Horse 48" decks.

Usually that's the case. Yes.

Very nice looking tractor you've got there.

I'll mess with the carb a little more, still don't have it perfect. I'll add a little more fuel. I never remember if tightening the screw is more or less fuel haha.

I am very happy with it!

Tightening the needle valve decreases the amount of fuel, loosening increases the amount of fuel being used.
