Solze1267 202 #1 Posted December 27, 2020 Once again I am in a pickle....decided to take the generosity of my boss to full advantage giving us a 4 day weekend and get some work done on the tractors. However I ran into a slight issue. I was working on putting the new to me throttle and choke cables on my d250 and wouldn’t you know it the one was too short. I’d like to make my own cables if possible as I need one for another tractor also and was hoping someone knows where to locate the inner and outer cables to build my own. I’ve found automotive braided kits but I want good ole solid wire. Any leads are greatly appreciated

bc.gold 3,406 #6 Posted December 28, 2020 (edited) The flexible outer is called Bowden cable and the solid wire core is piano wire. Edited December 28, 2020 by bcgold

They did have a reasonable flat rate so a good time to order other items if needed. Garry
