K241 Carburetor linkage

Recommended Posts

kevincva1

Hi everyone. Just bought a C101, the throttle cable is not connected at the carburetor and seems to missing some small pieces. Tried looking for a parts diagram for it, but not having much luck. Could some one take a picture of one that you have so I could see what I need to fix ours.

Thank you

Here are some pictures, not sure where to mount the lever that the throttle cable connects to.

:WRS:

Your ignition coil may be covering the hole where the linkage mounts.

Also, your choke cable clamp should be mounted higher on the shroud.

Ok so here is what I think may have happened. I just bought this tractor from a guy in the next county over from me. It was a Father/son project. There was supposed to be a parts tractor to come with the sale but it was taken off his property at some time in the last couple weeks. So I am thinking they either swapped the engine from the other tractor or the shroud is wrong for this application.  Any one out there have a spare shroud for a K241 they would be willing to part with and for how much?

Thank you everyone for your help.

I have an extra 12 horse parts engine that may have what you need.

It'll be a few days before I can get to the shop.

If I can help just pay the freight charges give or take a couple bucks...

Hey no worries. I am going to drill a hole in mine and weld a nut in place to make it work.
