Replacement motor

Recommended Posts

Hello. I am new here and hope someone can help me. I have a Toro 620Z Wheel horse and I need to replace my motor. I had someone who said he was knowledgeable on fixing mowers work on mine and he said he blew a rod and that engine needs to be replaced or rebuilt. I have been trying to find a replacement but had no luck. Can a toro mower use any kind of motor? Mine is a 20hp. I have seen other brands of 20hp or higher but was not sure if I can use them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You would need to do some measuring and investigation to determine what engine will fit your needs but there are lots to choose from.

Important things to know when replacing a vertical shaft engine. You will need to know your current mounting bolt circle. You will need to know your out put shaft length & diameter. Most other fitment things can be easily over come.

This may be one possibility.
