sqrlgtr 705 #1 Posted November 20, 2020 Got a model n carb that is leaking around the bolt that holds bowl on.Someone refresh my memory.Is there supposed to be an oring between bolt/washer and bowl or not...Dont want to tighten the bowl down and cave it in but cant get leak stopped.I have been through this before but cant remember what I did to remedy the leak.Heck this might even be the same carb I was thinking about lol..... I've found some bowls would not tighten because somewhere in the past they were over tightened and the bottom of the bowl was bent upward slightly. This usually caused the outer rim of the bowl to not be tight and leak. but you might look at the bottom of your bowl and see if the center needs a little tamp downward 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
