76c12091520h 3,920 #1 Posted November 15, 2020 This was not what I had planned today. The plan was to haul a large load of scrap from a local Toro dealer that my wife works for part time in exchange for a tractor. All is going as planned until I return to load up my new parts tractor when the owner says to me "I think I have a new hood upstairs for this" . Now, keep in mind that I have picked their inventory clean of every good W.Horse part they had in inventory. We go upstairs into a very large, very dark storage area filled with crap, no lights , just pathways thru the mess. I took two steps and kicked something like a hockey puck (see the last picture). That's when I started digging: boxes of un-inventoried NOS parts from a dealership he bought out 30 years ago : tons of belts and blades, throttle cables, stacks of DD pulleys, axles, plastic hubcaps, switches,an LXI mule drive.....the list goes on . The hockey puck and the best stuff is in the last picture. He wouldn't take anything for it, just wanted it gone(he forgot this stuff was even up there) . Tractor pictures tomorrow. 3 10

Tractorhead 9,212 #8 Posted November 15, 2020 Great save. Here few Valley‘s down is an ex Toro Dealer, they scrapped all parts they had after they loosening from Toro. That was 4 years ago, so i’m too late to save that Parts ..😢

Bought it knowing it had dropped the oil plug... Crankshaft ruined as well as the rod big ends figured after that too much investment on my return so sent it away after fighting it for 6 months. Looks like it has sat in the elements for many seasons faded to pink like that.
