Little pond work with the c160

After the leaf clean up with the 312-8 I decided the duck pond needed to be bigger. Lots more to go but the old girl is holding her own. Got her stuck twice and had to pull her out once with the 312. Once all my scrap burning is done I will really be able to dish the pond base out nice like.

They do every spring. I have a nesting pair and a lone bachelor mallard. Cant get them to nest in my yard to many dogs in the area, but I would like to give them a little more area maybe even get a few more in.

Getting closer to getting done. Snow is going to start flying tomorrow so trying to get as much done today as I can. And of wouldn't you know it my lift link broke  

Helper dog says he would lend a hand fixing it but now his butt is on the sofa........ typical!!

Did a fantastic job! A big  .  Maybe put a few fish in there let the kids catch them and release.

Get a couple of Koi  they will eat out of your hand after awhile.  Limit the fish or you will have water quality issues...

@Bigtrx34 agree with others on the terrific job on that , as a fly fisherman and fly tyer  , always picking up any sources of feathers , for making flies , neat to have supply fly in !  my most local pick up is turkey . by the way , carp will help a confined water spot stay cleaner , pete

So true but the bowfisher in me is going to have a real hard time fighting the urge to sling arrows.

@Bigtrx34  , should be good tomorrow early am , pontoon kick boat fly fishing ,just loaded up my car , bass and crappie  . hook in mouth , pete
