Pullstart 66,594 #2 Posted November 4, 2020 I believe that’s pretty much it! The 702 I believe was starter / generator, the 502 is @pullstart
ri702bill 9,337 #3 Posted November 4, 2020 Chris: As Pullstart stated, they are basically the same tractor. Some differences I have seen between my 502 parts tractor and my 702's - the 502 came with a metal open top "Toolbox" the size of the 702 battery - mounted the same as the battery. The 502 had a 2 piece gas tank, similar to the 1963 753 and my 1964 854 - the 702's have the one piece tank with the removable cast iron dash panel. The 702's came with a 2 inch Ammeter in the center of the dash - the 502 had a 2 inch block off plate that mounted the on-off toggle switch instead. Choke and throttle controls are the same - the 702's have a 2 prong key switch (power to the coil) along with the starter button mounted on the hood stand - the 502 had neither. Same hood stand.
