Looking at some photos, I do not see many with the skid shoes on. Anybody use shoes??

Im referring to skid shoes on grader blades here:wacko:!I do not but I can see their advantage on concrete/asphalt driveways.Dirt or gravel looks like they would just get in the way....:)BTW I prefer boots on my feet in cold weather and shoes in warm...

I have skids on the dozer blade that go on the C160 being a hydraulic lift it helps keep the plow up out of the stone of the driveway

Starter/ Genny tractors used an expensive key switch to handle the approx 65 amps to start the engine. A solenoid is cheaper and built to handle the load.

Ok Mike I just never seen one on a sart/Gen tractor.
