daveoman1966 3,841 #5 Posted November 2, 2020 My old Bronco 14 had the same nerve-racking rattle... Fixed it with a short spring. In the 'UP' position as shown, slight spring tension is all it needs. There is just a little bit more tension when the lever is pushed DOWN...stops rattle either way and the spring doesn't interfer with the motion control lever at all.
