I really wanted to use my original tires on my build but I think they are to far gone. Major cracks and dry rot plus the beads are pretty tore up. What are you guys using for replacements. I did find the Carlisle tires. They look nice.

Ok great. Thanks.  Front tires look great. The Carlisle rear looks closer to my original than the Firestone rear ag tho.

@Frankenstein 58 Sorry somehow I  haven't kept up with your thread.  if you havent replaced your gas tank filler neck yet, you can get as close to original as feasible filler necks from here.   I recently got a couple for my suburban projects.

Looks really really good.

Forgive my ignorance cuz I've never done one of those ... is that a de-solder and resolder?

No ignorance. Yes it is. It actually was pretty easy.

I turned and re-drilled a set as Steve’s thread had mention was an option. To help me center in the drill press vice I Ran the drill bit into the existing hole and got  the vice centered up.  The I swapped the shaft around and put a fowl in the existing hole. I put a vertical eleven on the dowel and that got me back to the same center in the vice.
Be careful to not get the hole to far onto the shaft. You can have trouble with the ends of the shafts hitting in the differential.

Awesome!

If this is NOT in this forum's collection of files perhaps you would consider copying and uploading.

New tires and tubes. New rear axles and repaired front spindle. Trans rebuilt with new bearings bushings and seals. Put dual axel seals on just to make sure they don’t leak. Still a ways to go but at least it looks like a tractor again
