c-series don 9,478 #1 Posted October 18, 2020 Just before heading out this morning I decided to check the Red Square classifieds. I then see a RJ-58 for sale about 40 minutes from me. Well next thing I know I have a change of plans for the day, and I’m on my way to get an RJ ! This tractor will receive a full blown restoration over the winter. 6 15

Shynon 7,475 #6 Posted October 18, 2020 Nice tractor, bet it would look nice wet sanded and a little oil.
c-series don 9,478 #7 Posted October 18, 2020 It’s actually more rusty than it looks in the pictures. My wife actually said “if you buy it you’re going to have to restore it back to shiny red!” I couldn’t believe those words came out of her mouth! 3

c-series don 9,478 #10 Posted October 18, 2020 I have a hood that is dent and rust free that I can use, first I have to get it 100% mechanically fixed. I will go over the engine and make it purr again. It also needs transmission gaskets and axle seals. Hubs and axles are tight. Honestly I need another project like I need a hole in the head, but I’ve wanted a nice RJ for a long time so....... 3

AMC RULES 37,153 #13 Posted October 18, 2020 What's up Don, does it have the rare factory twin fuel tank option I'm seeing there?

So, no longer just @c-series don, this begs the question. Does she have any sisters? Seriously though, I can taste the clouds of rust flakes flying off the wire wheel on the first pass. More pics when you can. 1
