mike,,, wheel horse has a rear end like a sears is this stock on some models and what model ,,,never seen this king of rear end in a horse its a three speed with a r

@mikepeden does the tractor have a model & serial number plate.  It could help us narrow down what it is by identifying a model/year.

I see a fork there.Hardly " clean enough you could eat off it ".As far as the rear end......un-explained phenomenom.Probably a one-off expermental Horse and worth a fortune??Haha.

Perhaps it is a Peerless 1400 transmission.

Used in the 800 Special model 1-0150 and the A-90 Special model 2-4300.

Get down and look up under the dash housing for an ID plate.

This frame and tranny mounting look similar  to the  Eaton 6 automatic in my  1971  model 800.
