its hard to tell with out the tag on the chassie just behind the front wheel

it could be a 59or58 both looked the same and were the same

RJ the one that got away. There was a sticker on the frame that shows RJ - 58. My brother thinks it's older because the front axel is stright and thinks it might be a RJ - 35 and if some one knows where I can get spec. on the rear axel that would be nice. Thank you, Tractor Jim

The straight tube steel axle was also on the RJ-58 and RJ-59. The cast iron axle was started with the 1960 models. The RJ-35 was a belt tension variable speed drive, not a gear drive tractor like yours is. The RJ-58 tag is most likely correct. Take a look in the gallery to see examples of both.
