Snowblower skids needed

Recommended Posts

I have a single stage snowblower with a 32 inch auger that needs new skids.  Does anyone know where I can get them?  The model number faded from the plastic tag and is unreadable.

WHX??

I would first check with parts tree or Toro. All later model singles should be the same. Might even be able to use generic universal ones.  I don't have acess to my files at the moment but maybe oe of the others can helpout with a part number. Another alternative is to make some many of use have done that.

Wonder what model snowthrower this is?

The early units for the long frame tractors had wheels instead of skids but skids could be added.

I think the early 32" snowthrowers did not include the extension wings so were  approx 38" wide.

In 1986 the wheels were replaced by skids as standard equipment.

I had one that I took the wheels off and put skids on. They might have been Toro, but most any replacement ones would work I think.

Wasn't much different from wheels iirc
