Does anyone know what the pulling payload weight is for a 252h

It is not much.

They recommend no ground engagement attachments. That limits you to attachments like snowthrower and snow blade. The Eaton 700 transmission was designed to move the tractor and that is about it.

The 252-H was designed to be a lawn tractor which will cut grass and pull lawn implements like a grass catcher or lawn roller. It only weighs a bit over 400 pounds and the disc brake on it is not designed to stop heavy weight, You may be able to pull a considerable amount of weight, but stopping it could be your downfall.

To a certain degree, stopping with a heavy load is an issue on all these tractors...

Here is everything we have on the 252-H which was produced 2 years.

28 results on 2 pages.

They are in no particular order so look through them all.

I have a 212,

pulling or Pushing was not really the main problem, if you have enough traction - my gearbox last‘s all my rapes,

Mainly the Brakes can give you a short „ hot“ impulse if you ride with lot’s of weight on a slope down and you felt no brakeforce.

i pulled my Trailer 110Kg with a lot of contents in it (about 400Kg) sometimes on a wet Lawn before i mow.

I only had my horror scenario, if i must stop that thing with that micro disc brake.

If brakesdisc and bricks are new, they work so far usable, but the bricks wear extremely fast on heavier load.

After few brakes with that Load the brake looses the brakeforce quickly until nothing.

Even after i reinforced the Spring, that pulls the brake, no really usable brake quality was happen.

so in short

Traction and brakes be your main problem.

first problem can be solved as far as the Axle load don’t exceeds 250Kilo‘s

but the second problem stay’s and cannot be solved sensefully without reworking the Tractor massive.
