Need some help.

Could someone tell me if this model has a low oil switch in the engine?

I think the five safety switch lights in the dash were removed for 1992-1993. Correct?

I think the oil light and test switch in the dash were removed for 1992-1993. Correct?

Is the engine spec number M10S-461545? Toro shows M10S-46154 for 1992 and M10S-46145 for 1993 and neither are correct.

If there is a low oil switch there should be 2 relays - one for the low oil and a second seat switch relay. The parts lists show only one 116397 relay.

I am trying to correct mistakes in the wiring diagrams.

Thank you

Garry

My '92 310-8 has a start relay and a SEAT RELAY

I will check out the oil switch (don't think it has one but not positive) and the engine spec number on Monday.

I think you will find the start relay is the low oil relay. Maybe they just eliminated the low oil dash light and test switch. Definitely 2 relays so it is the parts lists that are wrong.

1992 and 1993 use the same wiring.

Garry @gwest_ca, my 310 is model # 3110K803 which is a 1992 according to the "All Years" list. The serial number is 2000206 which is relatively early in that year's production run. The Kohler engine Spec. Number is 461545 and there is no low oil switch, and no low oil warning light or test switch.

Hope this helps.

Well guess that changes my question.

One relay is controlled by the seat switch as a kill relay.

What is the other relay with the light blue wire controlled by?

I can not find a Kohler parts list of the oil pan for a spec number that high.
